Frequently asked questions

Answers to the things people usually want to know before booking The Dating Project or enquiring about The Engine Room.

What does "fractional" actually mean? +

You get senior-level operational support without hiring someone full-time. I work as part of your team on a defined scope, not as a temp filling a seat. Think of it as access to a COO-level operator, part-time.

Is the Dating Project an operational audit? +

Yes, that's exactly what it is. It's a structured 90-minute diagnostic across how your business actually runs, not a casual chat. You leave with a written 90-day plan, not just notes from a conversation.

How is this different from hiring a VA? +

A VA executes tasks you hand them. I build and own the systems that mean fewer tasks need handing over in the first place. That's the actual difference: a VA works inside your existing chaos. I work on removing it.

What if I'm not ready for a retainer? +

Start with the Dating Project. It's a $450 paid session that gives you a 90-day plan you can put into action yourself, with the option to move into the Engine Room afterwards if you want ongoing support. Already know exactly what you need? You can enquire about the Engine Room directly instead.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule? +

Once your session has happened, payment is non-refundable since the service has been delivered. If I need to cancel or move your slot, you'll get a new time at no extra cost or a full refund if nothing works for you. For rescheduling on your end, just email me as early as you can and we'll find a new time.

How does an Engine Room engagement actually start? +

You send an enquiry telling me what you need help with. I read it personally and reply within 48 hours. If it looks like a fit, we agree the scope, price and start date together before anything begins. Minimum commitment is three months, priced around outcome rather than hours.
